Our new "Featured Products" represent a departure from our main line of bagpipes and accessories. We have, for many years, carried a range of whistles and flutes. Our own enthusiasm for these instruments goes back to before we took up the bagpipe as our principal instrument. Reluctantly, we find that as we try to ramp up a new project, we are not able to devote as much attention to the flute and whistle range as we would like so we are offering our present stock at Clearance Pricing. This stock comprises one Ormiston timber flute and a limited supply of Brian Howard's Low D whistles.
Ormiston Flute
George Ormiston has been making top quality timber flutes in Lanarkshire, Scotland for many years.
The flute we have in stock is modeled on the classic Rudall & Rose instruments. It is of African Blackwood mounted in hallmarked silver.
Ormiston flutes are very responsive, with a strong, dark sound.

Howard Low D Whistle
Brian Howard has been at the low whistle game about as long as anyone around. His low whistles have been very popular for years due to their playability and appoachable price. The design has been refined a number of times; these whistles feature the latest update to the headjoint design. Look for the two little dots on the tip of the mouthpiece.
