Terms And Conditions
Placing an order with us constitutes your acceptance of
the terms and conditions set forth here. If you have any questions or are uncertain in any way
about our return policies we strongly encourage you to discuss the
matter with us before making your purchase.
Returns & Exchanges
While we'd like to think that everyone who shops with us would be completely happy with their purchase we
recognize that there will be cases where reality will intrude and a product will not be what you expected.
You'll find procedures for returning items detailed below.
Mouthblown Instruments
You may return your bagpipe, practice chanter, or other mouthblown instrument for exchange
or refund within 14 days of delivery under the following provisions:
- If the instrument is defective in materials or workmanship please contact us either by phone at 508-833-1600
or via email at shop@celticfire.com. We will determine if the instrument or a component needs to be replaced and
direct you accordingly. There will be no charge for replacement of the instrument or component.
- If you decide that you wish to return an instrument for credit towards an alternative product or products
you will be assessed a restocking fee of 10% of your purchase.
- If you wish to return an instrument for a refund you will be assessed a restocking fee of 20% of your purchase.
Why? The instrument is no longer new and can't ethically be resold as such. Thus, depreciation must be figured into the transaction.
In addition, there are labor and administrative costs involved in a returned instrument.
Other Products
You may
return any product other than mouthblown instruments within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price or for exchange for
another product.
All goods returned for refund or exchange must be in as-new condition with all tags attached and/or packaging present.
If this is not the case we reserve the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee.

If you prefer using a commercial carrier,
e.g. UPS, FedEx, etc., you should first
contact us to make arrangements.
Packing Returned Goods
Goods should be carefully packed to avoid damage. You will not be credited for goods arriving in a damaged
condition. If you have any question about the best way to package a returned item please ask us.
Insuring Returned Goods
This is up to you. Please keep in mind that the goods are yours until they arrive here and we've
determined that we will accept them for replacement, refund or credit. If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit to us
that is matter between you and your chosen carrier. Make sure you understand your carrier's coverage policy.
People ask us "What would you do if you were the customer?" Our own choice would be to use UPS and insure.
